Whoa..midway into the 2nd week of school and it's been a flurry of activity!
And the multi-tasking culture in my school certainly makes it worse. It ensures that every single moment of the day, I'm occupied. Every single moment! Whether i'm in class, or doing my grading, or reading reports, or liasing with key contacts, or lunch, or organizing ministry stuff, etcetc.. it just seems like an endless stream of things to do!
And after such a "fun-filled" workday when I get home (that is, if I don't have another meeting to attend), the ever-growing piles of mess on my floor and table serve as a reminder of another item on my To-do list -- clean up my room!
Not forgetting those things on my list which are perpetual items --things that can never be removed due to their recurrent nature-- like practicing on my voice/bass/keys/guitar/drums, songwriting, arranging my songs, etcetc. I mean, start me on the keyboard and I can spend hours worshipping God. Which is great! But after that I sometimes wonder whether I could have spent less time on that and more on other things that actually have deadlines?
But oh well why am I spending time writing this entry when my reports beckon?
Sigh. Back to my grading...
