But i do find joy in studying.. in learning. Interestingly, here's what the lecturer shared with us at the 1st lesson:
Step 1) Learn
Step 2) Unlearn
Step 3) Relearn
It seems almost a waste of time to learn something only to unlearn it and then to relearn something new. But to a certain extent it does make sense. In this ever-changing world where information is more fluid than static, we have to constantly update ourselves and keep learning in order to remain relevant.
Talking about change, i met my secondary school friend at the church i sang at last week, and she couldnt recognize me! It's not like we havent seen each other in years, she's part of the only group of sec school friends i keep in contact with! Within a few months i had changed beyond recognition.. (or well, to her at least). "shan bian de nu ren", she called me. What can i say, i love the constant reinvention? haha.
But oh well, up next on the cards, my quest for a class 2B licence! Vespa vespa here i come!
As cliched as it may sound, it's become increasingly clear to me that we have only one life to live, and i want to Live mine. So now that my brother has embarked on this same quest, we shall, as one, fight against the prevailing forces of parental objection. With our powers combined, victory is ours! Wahaha
